Emily Steele

Emily Steele is currently a PhD student in the Stamplecoskie Group. Originally from Toronto, she did her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University, completing the thesis in the Stamplecoskie Group on metal nanocluster electron transfer rates to TiO2 for light harvesting. Her current research involves studying the excited state dynamics of nanoclusters and other photonic materials to assess their ability to act as photocatalysts. While not in the lab, Emily can be found reading, cooking or cycling.
