Behrad is currently a Postdoc in the Stamplecoskie Group. Originally from Tehran, Iran, he completed his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Tehran, specializing in polymer science. In addition to his foundation in chemistry, he pursued an MBA in entrepreneurship at the same institution. His academic journey included postdoctoral positions in Iran and the Netherlands, focusing on different biomaterials-related projects. These initiatives involved scaling up and translating academic research outcomes into viable commercial products. As a member of the Stamplecoskie group, he works on developing innovative synthesis methods for nanoclusters. His role also encompasses scaling up the synthesis and purification processes. Outside the laboratory, he plays music, reads books, and listens to podcasts while exploring the city on foot.
